Memphis, Tennessee

ACH’s Memphis location is home to the administrative offices of ACH with people working to support the business in functions such as legal, finance, information technology, human resources, transportation and procurement.

The Memphis operation also includes product development and testing. Researchers use the facility’s test kitchen to develop and test new products and potential new recipes.

Overlooking the shores of the great Mississippi River, Memphis ranks among the nation’s largest 20 cities. It is considered to be a major distribution center in the United States and hosts the corporate headquarters of FedEx, Autozone, International Paper and Service Master. Memphis is also home to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the top children’s cancer center in the nation.

Also called Bluff City, Memphis offers sports fans the Memphis Grizzlies, the Memphis Redbirds (the farm team for the St. Louis Cardinals) and college favorites, the Memphis Tigers. The city is considered the birthplace of blues and soul music. The city’s energy-stoked Beale Street offers non-stop live music from all genres. Music lovers are also treated to a city with a rich rock-n-roll heritage, which includes the historic Sun Studios and legendary rockers, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Justin Timberlake.  Great music tours are available with both the Rock 'n' Soul Museum and the Gibson Guitar Theatre.
